You know it’s approaching the holidays when… Oprah Winfrey is signaling the start of the holiday season again with her annual Favorite Things list! This year we were able to check out USA TODAY who had an exclusive first look at the 2024 list before magazines hit the stands on November 12th, 2024.

Oprah’s Favorite Things Chosen Items

Oprah has released her 2024 Favorite Things list, with items from Kim Kardashian and John Legend.

Prices range from less than $20 to a $1,800 fancy espresso machine – one of the highest price points in recent years (USA Today, Yahoo Life) and include items from a bunch of everyday categories such as:

While Oprah has a lavish and very comfortable lifestyle where she can afford many of these items like pocket change – but for the everyday middle class some of these items are just out of our spend. We would need to “save up” for just one special item (I’m looking at you De’Longhi Expresso Machine at $1200!).

For those of you who love to see what Oprah chooses each year, but are looking for a more affordable alternative, I’ve got you covered. Below many of these items, I’ve added a less expensive version if I could find one.
