5 New Favorite Summer Drinks – Fruity, Colorful, Summertime Paradise

When it comes to summer, I love a great refreshing, fruity cocktail. That’s why these summer drinks are definitely on my favorites list.

I hope you try these because they are DELICIOUS!!

My new favorite summer drinks are:

1. Adios Mother Fcker (aka AMF Drink)
2. Rainbow in Paradise
3. Blue Island Cooler (Kenny Cooler Texas Roadhouse copycat)
4. Blueberry Pineapple Punch
5. BONUS – Jens Fruity Sparkling Wine

1. Adios Mother F*cker (AMF Drink)

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Rum
• 1 oz Gin
• 1 oz Tequila
• 2 oz Sweet & sour mix
• 1 oz Lemon lime soda
• 1 oz Blue curaçao
• Lemon slice for garnish and/or dash of lemon juice

This badass AMF cocktail contains vodka, rum, gin, tequila, and Blue Curaçao, making this the kind of drink that’s pretty much guaranteed to make you loco in la cabeza in the best way possible. If you haven’t heard of it before, the Adios Motherfucker, which also goes by Adios Mother Fucker, Blue Motherfucker, Blue Long Island Iced Tea, Blue Motorcycle, the AMF cocktail, the AMF drink, or just the AMF, is quite the legendary drink

2. Rainbow in Paradise

This is just a fun and colorful cocktail drink that you can make in layers, but you can also use to make a big fishbowl drink!

Sip right into summer with this favorite drink Rainbow In Paradise. Make this fun fishbowl cocktail filled with a mix of rums, vodka, curacao, juice, and soda.

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Spiced rum
• 1 oz Banana rum
• 1 oz Coconut rum
• 0.75 oz Strawberry vodka
• 1 oz Overproof rum
• 1 oz Blue curaçao
• 3 oz Orange juice
• 1 oz Grenadine
• 2 oz Lemon lime soda
• Orange slice for garnish

Both these drinks are fantastic for the summer – and I’ll be adding more as I come across new favorites to share with you!

3. Blue Island Cooler

This is a Texas Roadhouse copycat recipe for the Kenny Cooler or Island Cooler drink. It is absolutely dangerous because you don’t taste the alcohol and its just great!

Ingredients:

• 1.25 oz coconut rum
• .75 oz peach schnapps
• .5 oz non-alcoholic blue curacao syrup
• .5 sweet and sour
• 6 oz lemonade
• Cherry
• Orange slice

Directions:

Step 1 – Fill glass with ice.
Step 2 – Pour all ingredients into shaker and shake well.
Step 3 – Pour into glass over ice.
Step 4 – Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.

4. Blueberry Pineapple Punch Drink Cocktail

This delightful concoction is crafted for a refreshing moment or a lively gathering, promising a burst of tropical bliss with each sip!

Ingredients:

• Tito’s Handmade Vodka, 2 oz
• Fresh blueberries, 1/4 cup
• Pineapple juice, 1 oz
• Lemon juice, 1/2 oz
• Simple syrup, 1/2 oz
• Ice
• Club soda
• Pineapple wedge and fresh blueberries for garnish

Instructions:

1. In a shaker, mix fresh blueberries with pineapple juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup to release their flavors.
2. Add Tito’s Handmade Vodka and fill with ice.
3. Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
4. Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
5. Top with club soda and stir gently.
6. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and additional fresh blueberries for a tropical presentation.

5. BONUS: Jen’s Fruit Sparkling Wine

This is a creation by my sister Jenny – it’s one of her favorites as well as my mom & me. We love having this at any get together because it is a great mix of soda, wine and fruit, very similar to a Sangria.

You can use any type of fruit in this as you would like a Sangria…. but the Mt. Dew Zero is what gets this to be so low in calories and guilt free!

Ingredients:

• 1/2 glass of wine (fruity red)
• 1/2 glass Mt Dew Zero
• Maraschino cherry juice
• Squeeze of juice from 1 piece of lemon
• 1 slice of orange

Directions:

Just add all the items as listed!
