
Drizzle with honey and soy sauce and sprinkle with brown sugar and ginger.
Set the crockpot (slow cooker) on low and cook for 6 hours
Reduce setting to Low and cook until chicken is cooked through, moist, and tender, about 6 more hours.
In a separate frying pan, brown 1 cut-up pepper and 1 can of pineapple per your taste (or steam cook them separately to add in at the end before serving)
Shred chicken and serve over rice.
And yes, before you say anything, I know it looks a bit "seasonless", but I assure you this Crock Pot Hawaiian Chicken is VERY flavorful. With soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, pineapple juice and spicy flakes, this is a sweet and savory flavorful dish. And it's great for leftovers or meal prep!
But I add salt and pepper to it as well once it's plated.

Place chicken breasts into the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour pineapple chunks with juice over chicken.

OR, you can cook on HIGH for 2 hours and then reduce setting to LOW and cook until chicken is cooked through, moist, and tender, about 4 more hours
Brown in pan shortly before serving 1 cut up pepper and 1 can of pineapple per your taste (or steam cook them separate to add in at the end before serving)
When done cooking, shred chicken and serve over rice.
